Alterego Price Increases

It has been a turbulent time for everyone over the last twelve months, and there have been numerous changes to the economy that have affected both businesses and consumers. Supply chains have been hit hard due to the effects of the pandemic and by the impact of Brexit.

At Alterego, we have been closely watching and monitoring these changes, particularly during the first two quarters of 2021, opting to absorb the supplier and supply chain price increases during this period.

During this time, we have done lots of work within the business to improve efficiency to mitigate some of these additional costs.

We have now reached a point where we have to undertake a formal product pricing review, which we haven’t done since 2015! This is due to manufacturing price increases, transport, customs clearance, additional tariff costs (due to country of origin new legislative requirements) and other supply chain increases.

The price changes will come into effect from the 1st July 2021, and we will aim to keep the increases as minimal as possible. The price increases, and new RRPs will be available to download from our website via the CSV and XML files.
